Serene Campus
In accordance with policy of Gujarat Cancer Society to "Nurture the Nature for better future", Community Oncology Centre (COC) provides a serene environment to Hospice patients. The clean and green campus of COC reflects a soothing change amidst the busy city area. COC staff celebrates World Enviornment Day every year.
Facilities for Health Check up and early detection of Cancer
The health check up facilities at COC include: Mammography Machine, LBC technology for pap smear & latest Ultrasound equipment.These services are backed with consultation by experienced Physicians, Gynacologists, Cancer surgeons, Radiologist and Palliative Care Physican.
Cottages for Hospice patients
COC has well-facilitated cottages for in-patients, suffering from advanced stage of cancer. These cottages provide the shelter like home away from home. There are separate rooms for patients & caregivers, sufficient to provide privacy and comforts. Services of trained nurses are also available.
Cancer Awareness Exhibition (Ganga Swarup Ramdevi Chetram Samriya Cancer Exhibition Centre
COC has a permanent display of Information on cancer. The wall-posts give pictorial and textual information on the types of cancer, causes, prevention, symptoms and treatment.
Home Care Van
A dedicated vehicle and team of nurses & doctors are available to reach out to the patients who cannot be brought to hospital.
